Rates

To make it easy and affordable this year for friends and family, we’re keeping the price to £950 a week over the peak season (May 1st to September 30th plus Christmas and New Year), £650 at all other times. We don’t normally let for less than a week, but it is possible so just check with us - rates vary depending on the time of year and how many people.

To keep this price we’re asking that:

• all visitors CLEAN UP THOROUGHLY before leaving the cottage for the next party

• weekly bookings run from Saturday PM to Saturday AM

If anyone arrives and finds the cottage isn’t spotless, we’ll engage a local cleaning firm and your deposit will be forfeit. If there is any left over after paying the cleaners, this goes to the inbound party as a small compensation.

Normal wear and tear is fine, but significant damage (eg you break a window, or the dishwasher) will be deducted from your deposit.

Pets: you’re welcome to bring a dog as long as they behave! Some of our visitors have pet allergies so it is really helpful if you keep your pets downstairs and away from beds etc but if that’s not practical please ensure you thoroughly clean up afterwards. Remember there is a public footpath going through the property and people often walk their dogs through the garden. You must ensure that your dog is always inside or, if outside, under control.

Deposit

Once we have confirmed your booking, we require your £150 deposit. Your booking fee is payable in full at least six weeks prior to arrival. Your deposit will be returned on departure.

Cancellations

Less than 1 month’s notice: 50% refund

1 - 3 month’s notice: cancellation fee of £125.00

More than three month’s notice: cancellation fee of £25.00

Cancellation fees are payable even if we manage to re-let the property to a third party for the slot you booked.
